A hike/scramble up to Cathedral Peak via Arlington Peak on the ridge line above the 3 pools and Seven Falls section of Mission Canyon in the Santa Barbara front country. The hike begins at the end of Tunnel Road and briefly follows the Jesusita Trail before veering off onto unmarked paths at Mission Creek, which then take you onto the ridge line. The Arlington and Cathedral ridge line provides a very impressive scramble up to a couple peaks which provide part of the back drop for Santa Barbara and Goleta.
This is a difficult hike and should not be attempted by the inexperienced or people in poor physical condition. Be sure to start the hike early enough to allow ample light to get back before dark.
Distance – 4 miles round trip
Elevation Gain – 2400 feet
